A bit about me.
It's been said that storytelling is the bridge from one reality to another. I've worked as a storyteller for more than 25 years so I can't wait to help you in your journey to write compelling stories.
Early on in my career, I valued storytelling as a powerful communication tool when I received a Queensland Country Press Association award for my work as a reporter on a country newspaper. I expanded my writing and editing skills when I later moved into corporate communications in the disability, religious and social services sector.
These days my special focus is working with writers of memoir and popular fiction because I believe everyone has a story of interest to tell in a voice that is uniquely theirs. Bringing stories to life is also about the way words come together to create a story. How that happens is not so much a mystery as an exciting journey into discovering the memoir or fiction writer in you.
As a member of the Institute of Professional Editors, I'm committed to advancing the profession of editing. A professional editor polishes your language and helps you say what you really mean to say.
I'm also intrigued by the interplay between the miraculous and the ordinary in people's lives. My first book, Thank GOD it's YOU!: Stories of Unexpected Grace, is an inspirational collection of personal short stories about lives wondrously and forever changed by a God of grace and perfect timing.

I live with my husband and two cats in sunny, sub-tropical Brisbane, Australia.
